We've mapped out the next few months of PLIX meetups on Zoom. We usually get together on the third Thursday of the month at 12 noon Eastern time. Links will be distributed via Eventbrite.
Cohort Call: Our New PLIX Creative Learning Ambassadors Thursday, October 21st | 12:00-1:00PM ET
In lieu of our quarterly PLIX Community Call, we'll host our first Cohort Call! It will be a meeting of the first cohort of PLIX Creative Learning Ambassadors!
Paper Circuits: Animated Cards Thursday, November 18th | 12:00-1:00PM ET
We're premiering a new version of the PLIX Paper Circuits zine with a slightly more advanced circuit design in this Make'n'Meet.
Scratch Sensing Without a micro:bit Thursday, December 16th | 12:00-1:00PM ET
Electronics have been in short supply during the pandemic, and micro:bits have been especially hard to come by! Come to share or hear about how other PLIX community members have connected the physical and digital worlds using Scratch and more widely available inputs.
PLIX Community Call Thursday, January 20th | 12:00-1:00PM ET
Along with the usual community shareouts, at this meeting we'll offer a peek at the results of an ongoing project at PLIX, a co-design focused on the needs of rural public libraries and tribal libraries.
